Our Company, INDEPENDENT TELEPHONE COMPANY, INC. (INTELCO) a duly enfranchised telecommunication company under Republic Act No. 8615 and certified under CPCN Case No. 93-07 is approved by the National Telecommunication Commission on January 31, 1994 to construct, establish, install, maintain and operate local exchange network in the Municipality of Biñan, Laguna.
The Company is committed to provide quality services and in response to the call of the government to improve and modernize the telecommunication industry, INTELCO was among the first telephone company to introduce the use of electronic switching system employing the latest state of the art technology utilizing computer to guide and control the entire operation of its telephone system. The Company is continuously developing its telephone network by installing more lines through the expansion program projects of its outside plants and the construction of the local exchange.
Further, INTELCO is a member of Philippine Association of Private Telephone Companies (PAPTELCO) and has been in the telecommunication business for almost 47 years providing both voice/data services to all residential, commercial and other business establishment within its franchise area.
As a PAPTELCO member, INTELCO enables its subscribers to have direct interconnection to over 50 telephone companies throughout the country. INTELCO offer services such as National and International Direct Dialing (NDD/IDD), 1-800 toll free, 105-12 AT&T USA Mabuhay Collect Call, SPRINT 105-17, Embassy Info. Services, Data Communication Link-up for Digital Subscriber Lines (DSL) as well an Internet Dial-up Access to all its subscribers. INTELCO likewise has direct interconnection with Bayantel, PT&T and Digitel via a fully redundant Fiber Optic Network System.
